Zagreb Roundabout is one the busiest traffic junctions in Croatia, with more than 100,000 vehicles passing through it everyday. It is located at the junction of four traffic routes, which means that traffic will have to be diverted to newly built diversion routes during reconstruction.
Institut IGH was engaged for the preparation of the detailed design for the new roundabout, which is based on the selected conceptual design of the Investor, and aimed at finding efficient solutions that should ensure uninterrupted traffic flow and thus reduce traffic congestions and relieve the traffic load.
