IGH signed the contract for development of study and design documentation for RWMC Šagulje

President of the Management Board of Institut IGH, Oliver Kumrić, signed the Contract for the services of development of study and design documentation for the purposes of construction of an integral municipal waste management system in the area of Brod-Posavina, Požega-Slavonia and a part of Sisak-Moslavina County through the project RWMC Šagulje and for the purposes of co-financing with EU funds, with the President of the Management Board of the Regional Waste Management Centre Šagulje (RWMC Šagulje), Josip Grgić, on behalf of group of economic operators, constituted by IGH as the leader and partner companies Elektroprojekt and Hidroplan.

The Contract was signed after a public procurement procedure was implemented, for the services of development of design-technical documentation for the construction of six transfer stations in the area of RWMC Šagulje, required for co-financing with EU funds.

The value of the contract amounts to HRK 1.84 million, VAT exclusive, with completion period of 18 months.

The construction of RWMC Šagulje is of strategic importance for all counties involved and the Republic of Croatia, since waste management centres represent one of the key elements in establishing an integral waste management system in the Waste Management Strategy of the Republic of Croatia. The implementation of this project will ensure a system in compliance with the highest standards of the European Union.
