Institut IGH as member of the Consortium, i.e. Group of Tenderers consisting of STEAG Energy Services GmbH and SGS Beograd d.o.o. and the Rudnici mrkog uglja Banovići d.d Company /Brown Coal Mines Banovići JSC/ signed the Contract for Supervision Services of the „Engineer“ for the Implementation of the Contract on Engineering, Procurement and Construction –EPC Contract for the TPP Banovići, Unit 1-350 MW number 1669/15.
Institut IGH is contracted to provide revision of design documents, expert supervision of construction works and part of the QA/QC services during the mounting of steel structures at the construction site. Value of the Contract, based on the „turnkey“ model is 7,15 million Euro for three groups of activities: Revision of design documents from the EPC Contract, Supervision of construction works at the construction site and Supervision of production of plants and equipment in the workshops, and delivery of equipment for the TPP Banovići, Unit 1-350 MM.
The Contract execution period is 40 months and its goal is to assure a high quality supervision of project implementation, implementation of all controls and tests of building materials and equipment used for the new plant unit and to ensure a high standard and quality of work execution of the selected contractor Dongfang Electric Corporation Limited DEC China.
The overall investment value of RMU Banovići is 412,4 Million Euro.
