We are extremely proud to announce that our colleague Stjepan Kralj, long-standing employee of Institut IGH, has been awarded the „Stjepan Lamer” life achievement award at the 7th Congress of the Croatian Road Society VIA VITA, held in Opatija.

Stjepan Kralj has spent all his working life in the Institut IGH, where he passed all the stages of professional advancement, from management of complex expert projects and teams, chief designer, coordinator, to the head of international projects. His greatest contribution to the profession is in the field of roads and traffic surfaces, but also in the field railways, airports and complete transport infrastructure.
Stjepan Kralj, as graduate civil engineer and Master of Science was awarded the life achievement award for his exceptional contribution in road design in Croatia and abroad, development of complex studies but also for the efforts invested into mentoring younger generations of engineers – Croatian road designers.
Having achieved undisputed authority as an expert with a broad spectrum of expertise, Stjepan Kralj has been deservedly recognized by the profession, and this valued award is going to the right man. We congratulate our colleague on the award!
