INSTITUT IGH d.d. is the only nominated Croatian Technical Assessment Body (CTAB) in the Republic of Croatia, for performing assessments and issuing the Croatian Technical Assessment (CTA) for the entire scope of construction products.
The nomination was conducted by the Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning of the Republic of Croatia, pursuant to Article 45 of the Construction Products Act (Official Gazette No. 76/13, 30/14 and 130/17).
IGH CTA is an organizational unit set up within INSTITUT IGH d.d., which consists of responsible persons nominated for preparation and issuance of the Croatian Technical Assessment (CTA).
The person responsible for IGH CTA ensures adherence to the procedure for the preparation of Croatian Technical Assessments, in compliance with all provisions of the Construction Products Act.
IGH Cert provides certification services, i.e. services of assessment and verification of constancy of performance for construction products.
In systems 1 and 1+, IGH Cert is a body for certification of products for the issuance of certificates of constancy of performance of construction products. In system 2+, IGH Cert is a body for certification of production control for the issuance of certificates of conformity of factory production control of construction products.
IGH Cert has been accredited by the Croatian Accreditation Agency (HAA), according to the standard HRN EN ISO/IEC 17065:2013 for harmonised and non-harmonised technical specifications stated in the Certificate of Accreditation No. 3055 (http://www.akreditacija.hr/registar).
Authorizations for certification were granted by the Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning, while for the harmonised area, in compliance with the Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 of the European Parliament and the Council of 9 March 2011 laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products, they were confirmed by acceptance of IGH Cert’s application to the EU bodies, through which IGH Cert became a notified body NB 2477. The scope of authorization NB 2477 is stated on the official website of the European Union, as a part of the so called NANDO database.
In the non-harmonised area, IGH Cert is an Approved Body (AB) No 1/05, according to the Construction Products Act and pertaining ordinances and technical regulations.

IGH Cert performs certification of construction products and factory production control according to certification schemes for:

ZGP 1+: steel for the reinforcement, steel for pre-stressing, cast iron pipes, plastic pipes EN 12201, plastic pipes EN 1796, plastic pipes EN 15874, valves and hydrants
ZGP 2+: concrete
Except for the part regulated by the law, IGH Cert also provides services of so called voluntary certification.
Voluntary certification is a procedure of certification by implementing actions planned for systems 1, 1+ and 2+, in case when the manufacturer or his authorized representative wishes to certify a product/production in a higher level (more demanding) system of assessment and verification of constancy of performance than provided in the technical specification and legislation.
Based on the voluntary certificate, the Declaration of Performance cannot be drawn up and the product cannot be affixed with the CE or C marking, which is clearly stated on the certificate itself.
